MultiExtractor is an application that allows you to rip / extract multimedia files from any other binary files (eg. applications, databases, libraries etc.) so unlike to resource rippers it's not only limited to executables and libraries.

The entropy rate of a data source means the average number of bits per symbol needed to encode it. Entropy Calculator is a small application (pure assembly, with lots of FPU) that will quickly calculate the entropy (Markov model) of a given file. Basically you can tell if a file is encrypted/compressed. More info in the readme.
