• Fixed a problem in POCC where invalid machine code was sometimes generated, for global pointer compares, leading to a compiler error.
• Fixed a problem in POLINK where CodeView information for structures (and unions) larger than 32,767 bytes generated corrupt debugging information.

Pelles C for Windows is a complete development kit for Windows and Pocket PC. It contains among other things an optimizing C compiler, a linker, a resource compiler, a message compiler, a make utility and install builders for both Windows and Pocket PC.

MAKEMSI is a freeware tool with utilizes simple XML like text files for the reliable creation (or updating) of MSI based installers. Once set up subsequent rebuilds are automated, reliable, quick and in general require no MSI skills. Not only does MAKEMSI build the MSI but it creates HTML documentation for it as well!

• IDE with full integration of all components. RosAsm is auto-compilable and the Sources are hosted inside the PEs. No installation overhead (the silent auto-install coming with RosAsmFull.zip makes RosAsm the only actual Click&Go Assembler environment).

ISTool helps you create scripts for Jordan Russell's Inno Setup compiler. Inno Setup is a great compiler for very professional looking setups, and the only disadvantage is that you have to create fairly complex scripts by hand.

MASM32 is a working development for programmers who are interested in either learning or writing 32 bit Microsoft assembler (MASM).

Easy Code is the visual assembly programming environment made to build 32-bit Windows applications. There are two available versions of Easy Code:

- Masm version using the Microsoft Macro Assembler (distributed with Masm32 and GeneSys packages)
- GoAsm version using the Jeremy Gordon's Go tools (distributed with the ECGo package)

The NewBasic Assembler, NBASM, is an x86 assembler and is near MASM 5.1x compatible, which now includes a Visual IDE that intergrates the assembler process for you.

BLASM is an x86 assembler coupled with an IDE and released under the GPL.

Almost all (compressed, as well) executables can loose from 1 to 20KiB in size, depending on several factors.

In the meanwhile, while the code that is built into this tool becomes something else (perhaps, it'll continue to live, depending on the public interest...), you can use it as an PE optimizer (for now, only x86 architecture is supported, that means, no x64/PE+ support).
